M233 This Civil War Bowie Knife marked VENTURE Slater brothers Sheffield England. The Ivory handle has a nickel silver guard and Measures 12 ½” overall and 7 ¾” inch blade comes with a brown leather sheath with belt loop. The handle looks to me like I was too close to fire at one time just enough to darken it but not enough to hurt it. The blade finish is overall very good with some slight stains but no nicks or rust.
