#4859 National No.2 41RF Derringer
Description
#4859 National No.2 41RF Derringer, with good bore, good action and some thin traces of nickel plate still remaining on the brass factory engraved frame. The barrel is a dark greyish color and has some moderate wear and minor freckle scattered pitting; the hammer has some deeper pitting as can be seen in the photos below. The address is dim but mostly readable (these were never deeply struck like the later Colt Derringers were) and the grips are very good with no serious wear or damage. The National was the successor to the Moore Derringer of Civil War vintage (1860-1865), and then National was bought out by Colt Firearms in 1870, who then continued this line of Derringers with the Colt name. The Nationals were made between 1865-1870 with about 12,000 produced. VG $695. (Please read sellers rules below ..and thanks for looking!!)
Price: $695.00
