#4769 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB standard 24” barrel

Description

#4769 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB standard 24” barrel length and standard trigger, 38WCF, Third Variation, SN 273XXX (1888) with a smooth action and about a 6 bore which hopefully will clean to about a 7. The bore does have medium wear, some light scale and light pitting the entire length, but is at least average or better than most ‘73s in this overall condition. It should still be able to spin a bullet and be reasonably accurate to at least 75-100 yards, but that’s just a somewhat educated guess on my part. The exterior is an even smooth mottled grey-brown patina with a small patch of moisture erosion on the front left side of the barrel, VG markings and average metal. VG wood that shows just the light bumps and dings of 129 years of use but does have a letter “L” and a couple of seemingly deliberate scratches in the stock. Nothing special insofar as unusual guns go, but a decent overall appearance and a bit better than the usual no-finish ’73 that are still seen in this price range. Open buckhorn rear sight and pinched blade front sight. About VG. $1795

Price: $1,795.00
