#4946 Colt S/A 7-1/2”x44/40, 105XXX range (1885) w/factory letter

Description

#4946 Colt S/A 7-1/2”x44/40, 105XXX range (1885) w/factory letter. G-VG bore, good action, nice grips with left side having an old stress or drying crack but no serious wear or damage. The metal is basically a smooth brown with some scattered light to moderate pitting but not out of character with the revolver in general. The markings are mostly VG, but the patent dates appear lightly struck, especially at the front portion; the etched panel “CFSS” barrel logo is LONG worn away. Overall, a decent old long-barreled .44 at a reasonable price….especially with a factory letter (which is now $150). There are lots of pictures of this neat old Hawg-Leg, so if they all do not load up, be sure to e-mail me and I’ll forward them along to you. About “Fine+” as described. $2995.

Price: $2,995.00
