#2404 Large Unmarked percussion Holster Pistol, appears either French or English

Description

#2404 Large Unmarked percussion Holster Pistol, appears either French or English but has no visible proofhouse markings. Looks to be about 60cal smoothbore, 8” iron barreled, flared flat butt with brass cap and brass furnishings. Nice wood with no damage of mention with the exception that someone has forced a rammer stick in too far and cracked the belly of the fore stock (see photos). Otherwise it shows very little wear to either metal or wood. Mechanically very good but could use a new nipple or have this one freshened out. Totally unmarked as to maker, but looks to date about 1850-60. VG $595

Price: $595.00
