#4945 Colt Model 1877 “Lightning” revolver, 2-1/2”x38COLT, 31XXX range

Description

#4945 Colt Model 1877 “Lightning” revolver, 2-1/2”x38COLT, 31XXX range, factory nickel and desirable “etched panel” barrel. Action is working well on both SA and DA modes, bore is Fine. As can be seen in the photos, this is a very near minty gun ....if not for some slightly demented former owner putting some vise marks on the address line and a few nicks on the frame sides. The finish however, is about 99%, the etched panel is at least 90%+, the grips show minimal wear and have no chips or damage ….and overall, the gun would easily rate as “Exc++” if not for the mentioned marks. Also, the barrel length is a tough one to find and overall, this little Lightning will be a hard gun to upgrade. It also has a copy of an old Colt factory letter included. There are lots of pictures of this neat little gun, so if they all do not load up, be sure to e-mail me and I’ll forward them along to you. $1295
