Fine Early Slim Jim, Army or Navy Holster

Description

Item Number L100276. This is a finely crafted early slim jim holster that fits either a Colt 1851 Navy or 1860 Army. The Army is a snug fit and puts a little stress on the cupped trigger guard area going in, but this is probably what the holster was made for. The Navy is an easier fit with less stress, and looks equally well in the holster. All stitching is present and tight, including the toe plug and wide belt loop on back. The holster is lined with fine glove leather and the lining is undamaged. The leather is somewhat flexible, though holds its form well. Surface is relatively smooth with only slight surface wear in the trigger guard area. This is the classic slim jim, and few have survived in this condition.
