BP001 Winchester 1892 OBBMCB 20”x44WCF Australian “Short Rifle”

Description

BP001 Winchester 1892 OBBMCB 20”x44WCF “Short Rifle” with the VERY scarce “Stinger” stamping indicating this little rifle was sent to Australia in the mid-1890s when Australia was in the midst of its growth. (Those Model 1892s destined for the Aussie market were so marked and the Model 1873s were marked “Daisy Rifle” on the barrels). There is a Cody Museum check sheet (photographed) showing it to be listed as a 20” and “Stinger” marked. The bore is about a 6-7 on a scale of 10, the action is smooth and tight. Metal is smooth semi-cleaned grey, no pitting, VG markings, and the wood is solid with just average light bumps and dings. A very scarce variation and being an antique as well. This is a consigned gun so no Layaways offered on this one. There are lots of pictures of this neat old gun, so if they all do not load up, be sure to e-mail me and I’ll forward them along to you. $1850.
