#578 Remington Double Deringer 41 Type II

#578 Remington Double Deringer 41 Rim Fire Manufactured in Ilion, New York two shot over and under Manufactured 1888 to 1911 Type II First Variation 3” barrel the top of barrel marked “REMINGTION ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y.” barrel address 37MM long good bore Crisp edges and crisp marking functional with 98% overall Nickel finish and the original hard rubber grips are in excellent shape this one was Manufactured in 1889 On the bottom of the frame there is a circle with an upside down “Y” in it on one side of the leg is an “A” on the other side is a “B” and on the bottom looks like a “1”. This definitely looks as if it were stamped at the factory before it left. It would be interesting to know what this mark is. Serial #10XX
