#SE239 Colt 1849 Pocket Pistol this is a 31 caliber percussion, five shot revolver with a 5 inch octagon barrel non-rebated cylinder. It was originally manufactured from 1852 about 1873 with about 325,000 manufactured. Serial number indicates that this gun was made in 1868. The back strap and trigger guard are made of brass and than silver plated. The gun retains none of its blue finish and has acquired a patina. The roll engraving on the cylinder is still detectable. Barrel and frame stampings are clear and all serial numbers match except for the barrel wedge. This gun is been buffed on and re-colored. The grips were made of one piece walnut. The gun is in working condition and would be graded in fine plus condition. Serial #3026XX
