#4877 Colt 1849 Pocket Model, 6” barrel, 31 caliber percussion, 196XXX range, one line New York address and six shot cylinder, very good action and bore. Some faint traces of blue mixed with a brown patina, 85-90% cylinder scene, 30% varnish on grips that have been used as a hammer and consequently have dings and a sizable chip on the bottom.. All matching numbers including the wedge. A decent Pocket Model made during the early years of the Civil War and perhaps was a personal “second defense” weapon for some soldier.
