F. A. Mfg. Co. Hartford , Ct. U.S.A.” on the side of the barrel “COLT D.A. 38” on the left side of the frame are the Colt patents and the Rampant Horse in a circle on the back strap is Am. Exp. Co. 954 this gun is an all matching gun with all matching serial numbers some fire blue still left on the back of the hammer, the trigger with 2 piece hard rubber original grips.
